Sun, blue sky and vintage cars!!!!

Weather has been really AMAZING for last few days...

10 days with only blue sky, quite unusual...
is winter really ended?

So we enjoyed this unexpected weather last week-end at Reims.

As every year we went to the first vintage cars event in North East of France.

We had so much fun with friends that we forgot to take pictures... just a few to share...

We both wore red!

I didn't even picture my dress...

But with just a few photos, you can have an idea of our looks on that day.

Just one detail of my earrings!

Crazy bakelite little guys found NOS in Paris for Xmas.

Sylvain and I found also some new vintage treasures.

I bought that HUGE 40s purple hat and you cannot see the other side.... GORGEOUS! I LOVE huge hats!

So many nice vintage cars!!!

We drove to there with Sylvain's '58 Lincoln...

We finished the day at our friends' home in a cosy 30's atmosphere!

Are you also in Europe to be able to enjoy this crazy weather?
What special events did you go to lately?

First FLEA MARKETS !!!

So we are now waiting for spring...

and how to know if winter is soon over?

Winter finishes when flea markets start again after a sleepy season!

We went to some nice ones last week!

It feels good to be able to hunt again for beautiful vintage treasures...

even if it's still a bit cold outside!

These pictures were shot in Belgium.

These amazing stairs have just been restored.

That was last sunday's morning...

a real winter feeling!

But on the same day's afternoon, it was already spring!!!

So I was able to show you what was under my coat and furs!

Did you notice my new boots from Miss L Fire?

They fit perfectly my skirt's pockets!

I love this sweater because I gave it a second "life"...

It was quite plain and large when I bought it...

but I loved its color and unusual shape so I gave it a try!

I added a few vintage buttons in an asymetrical way...

and an elastic at waist to give a more flattering look ....

My cute poodle was really cosy pined there!

That was definitively a good hair day!!!

We enjoyed a walk in park after flea market...

Our car trunk already full of goodies!

Here is Sylvain's look on that day.

This amazingly bright sweater just called for spring!

Sylvain had fun doing some sport...

always like a kid...

But you want certainly see what we found!

40's hats, 40's sweater, 50's grey mink stole, 30's shoes, vintage jewels (earrings, brooches, watches), 50's ELLE magazines, vintage scarves, 50's red belt, atomic tables, 50's scale, 50's lucite display, cute vintage boxes....

Did you go to flea markets recently?
Are you feeling that spring is just around the corner?

Vintage PENDELTON TWINS !

Winter is quite strange where we live this year...

One of the warmer for almost 100 years!

But it's also a sad one, with rain, rain and rain...

So when we can enjoy a few sun rises we must go out!

I have to share with you a strange fact...

I saw my husband going out dressed like this a few weeks ago,

and I shout something like "OMG!!!!!!"

"That's crazy!!!! I have the same shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This 40's pendleton have been one of my favorites for almost 10 years....

But I had never realized that Sylvain had the same one!

But not really the same...

Sylvain has a shirt for men, double flat pockets and right closure.

Mine has only one simple pocket and left closure as all women shirts!

When I look at labels mine must be a little older, probably for the 40's and Sylvain's one from the 50's.

So for once I asked him to be dressed like a pair...

Black and white shoes...

Dark pants...

I chose some bright assessories....

to give a more girly look to this boyish outfit.

I really love Pendleton shirts...

on men of course but also for women!

But I must tell you that the one I own is the only one I have ever seen since 15 years!

Perfect twins, aren't we????

Do you have some Pendeltons in your wardrobe ?
Do you have some vintage matching clothes with your man ?
