with temperatures between -10°C and -2°C (-14°F and -28°F)!
Brrrrrrr!!!!!
But in only one night all the snow melted!
However, it's still winter...
A lot of new comers in vintage world ask us:
"But what do you wear in winter???"
It's true that more summer clothes have survived...
and a lot of repro brands only propose coton dresses or openned shoes.
Yes, you can have a RETRO style without being cold!!!
First look for a nice vintage coat,
A pair of warm gloves (those are new from Ebay),
Vintage scarves are easy to find!
Wool pantyhose will be your best friends!!!
And a nice pair of boots will keep your feet warm!
I like to wear bright colors in winter, as weather is often sad.
My ladybugs brooch and earrings inspired me for this outfit.
Earrings are vintage bakelite,
my brooch is from the french designer Léa Stein.
I'm quite obsessed with her work!
Another secret for a warm winter outfit is...
WOOL!!!
Wool 50's skirt...
Wool vintage sweater!
This sweater sweedish inspired
was a present for my hubby's birthday...
another Tintin's outfit for him!
A lot of people think about the famous reporter when they see knickers...
he paired them with this gorgeous jacket!
The details are so great on it.
He managed to mix western wear
with a northern inspiration!
Sylvain likes to be different...
that's why he almost never wears jeans...
Fun experience...
This sweater is from JANTZEN...
this firm produced their first knitting in the 10's!
When swimsuits were made of wool!
In the 50's, their range went from beach to ski wear.
Try to always find a piece fun too wear in winter...
otherwise the winter blues will catch you!
What prevents you from the winter blues?
What fun accessories do you use during cold days?
