A WORLD TOUR in the 30's !!!

Some years ago, we bought a quite not typical thing in a french flea market... it's a box full of brochures from all around the world. It was the only vintage item of the stall of this familly and they probably don't know what they sold to us for only 1 euro!!!!

Came back home we realised that it was like a small treasure, all these brochures dated back to the 30's and contained for example transportation tickets, post cards, theaters programs, so it was sure that people who collected all these documents travelled across all these countries!!!!

FRANCE

ITALY - SPAIN - AUSTRIA - SWISS - ENGLAND

EGYPT

MORROCO

U.S.A :  NEW-YORK

BOSTON - MONTREAL (CANADA)

TEXAS

A lot of states parks...

GRAND CANYON

CALIFORNIA

MEXICO

SEATTLE

FAR EAST

JAPAN - CHINA

INDIA

I really love to travel so reading all those vintage brochures made me travel all around the world but not only they also make me travel in time back to the 30's... It's easy, fast and quite affordable to travel nowadays but in the 30's ...!!!! Those people must have been really rich and this world tour must have lasted perhaps 2 or 3 years judging by the dates on those brochures. What a great adventure!!!!

What do you think about this World Tour ?
Do you like to travel ?

    1. You must definitively come to France, I proud of all the beauties of my country! I have already visited about all european countries, it's quite easy when you live in Europe... Egypt was nice, but I remember to be so ill there. I spend a nice time in China too. The part of the world that I visited the most is North America... I will come to the USA in april for the 8 times!!!
I plan a trip in Australia for 2013.

  2. Those are awesome! You've found so many cool things at the flea markets. I wish I had had better luck when I was in Strasbourg and Vienna. I have a few old Viennese movie flyers from the 60s and some souvenir photos of Paris probably from the 50s but that is about it!

  5. Oh, wow! What a find. These are so amazing. I do love to travel but it's very expensive so I don't do it very often.
