NEW colorful OUTFITS!!!!

So a lot of you wanted to see new outfits with our recent finds...

So here are our first inspirations...

a tribute to our first stop in the USA... Portland!

With a Pendleton jacket for Sylvain and a Pendleton skirt for me.

My husband found it in a vintage shop in Oregon where the brand comes from.

My skirt was found in an antiques mall in Las Vegas far away from where it was produced!

Except my purse, shoes and sun glasses,
everything is new in my outfit!

I love trying to match new (to me) clothes and accessories!!!!

My 50's orlon sweater comes from Meow in Long Beach.

This vintage mexican jacket was my last purchase...

but not the least!!!!

I could have it for a good price because there are huge SALES at Viva sunday evening!

I like these kind of jackets a lot , but they are hard to find in good condition and in a larger size...

I have only 2 of them: one in red (here) and this green.

I bought this 40's silk scarf in Seattle, in a vintage shop where I had the pleasure to meet Sara from Lillies and Remains.

This hat is a present from Julie,
the lovely lady who runs Fab Gabs Vintage.

We had the pleasure to attend to one of her famous cocktails parties in Portland!

After the crazy sun of Vegas we are back to wool...

New jacket for Sylvain but also new tie!

That 40's tie comes from Viva.

A lucky horse shoe tie bar....

My husband loves tie bars, he's always looking for unsual ones.

New saddle shoes also from Oregon.

I will tell you more about them in a next post.

Did you notice the brooch on my purse?

I bought it at VLV car show...

from "Miss L Fire" herself!!!

That was a great pleasure to meet one of my favorite shoes designer in person.

She's now making some really nice vintage inspired plastic jewels.

We will need some time to post about our US trip...

a lot of pictures to sort... even if we didn't take as much pictures that we would want....

for example I don't have pictures of all my VLV outfits...
too busy partying with friends ;-)

Do you like colorful clothes?
What do you think about our Portlander outfits?

Back from US vacation....

We didn't post anything last few weeks because we were on vacation for 3 weeks in the USA...

But we are finally back!!!

A first post to show you some pictures of what we brought back to France.

We came back with a few new pairs of shoes...

Sylvain found a lot of 40's ties to add to his collection but he also bought some amazing tie bars!

I also fell in love with some vintage jewelleries: earrings, brooches, necklaces, bracelets... rhinestones, plastic, lucite, bakelite!

My vintage purses collection had grown a bit...

Our juke-box will be happy with all these new records!

And here are all vintage clothes we brought back...

We have visited so much vintage shops and antique malls!

We also met so much nice people...

We are really pleased with our new vintage treasures!!!
We will need many posts to show you all.

Did you miss our posts?
What do you think about our finds? Crazy, aren't they?

SUNDAY RIDE...

We have had an incredible sunny weather lately...

Was like june in march!

So Sylvain could not resist....

he HAD to drive his convertible!

Not really compatible with my huge hat...

Because when it's sunny outside, I cannot keep my straw hats packed!

Sylvain like to enjoy sun in his car,

but I prefer a stroll in forest!

I could worn these NOS 50's sun glasses.

I'm trying to wear more separates these days...

but it's not easy.

My wardrobe is lacking of some basic color tops, quite hard to find,

it's more simple to wear dresses.

Sylvain is always looking for some unique color vintage pieces.

Dark colors are more easy to find than brighter ones.

Look at this yellow sweater, it makes a huge difference in an outfit!

Flowers are everywhere, that gives a good mood.

That's why I chose a colorfull outfit.

That circle skirt is really nice, isn't it? One of my last find.

What a great pleasure not have to wear coats!

My hat is from the 40's.

I found it in a flea market not to long ago.

I like the unique style that a large hat gives, always more elegant.

A few more pictures at sunset...

just in front of our garage.

What a really nice day we had!

Do you prefer dresses or separates?
Do you also enjoying summer in spring?
